How it works
This editor uses only the HTML5 Canvas in your browser — there's no AI, no server, and no upload. Drawing, flood-fill, shapes and text are standard canvas operations; BMP files are written by the same pure encoder the rest of the site uses, and iPhone HEIC photos are decoded locally. Because nothing is sent anywhere, there's no telemetry and no history of your images.

Can I combine two photos side by side?
Yes. Each photo you drop lands exactly where you drop it as a movable, resizable layer. Drop the first and position it, drop or paste the second beside it, then click the green ✓ to place each one. Use Resize to set the canvas size (or Open to load an image as the full canvas), then download the merged image.
Is it exactly like Microsoft Paint?
It works the same way: a single bitmap you draw on with a pencil, brush, shapes, fill bucket, and text. Pasted images float until you place them, just like Paint. One modern extra: the eraser can erase to transparency, not just the background color.
Does it work on a Mac, Chromebook, or iPad?

Is there a canvas size limit?
The canvas can be up to 8000 × 8000 pixels. Very large images opened from a file are automatically scaled down to fit.
Do my images get uploaded anywhere?
No. There is no server involved in editing. The whole editor is JavaScript running on your device — no upload, no telemetry, no history kept.
